when i was a kid i didn't understand how this worked and i thought every CD that was manufactured had to have a monster put onto it. like they'd go up to ringo starr or whatever and ask him what monster he wants and he'd say "ouhh this DEfinitely has a "Battle Rocks" quality to it! peace and love.!"

I think ill finish listening mostly because im still morbidly curious about it but i dont think I can reccomend the project in any capacity. Elizabeth Taylor is the only song Ive felt I liked so far but even that track is only okay.

I would excuse the cringey lyrics if they were at least fun? But they really arent. For the most part Taylor just sounds incredibly bitter. And setting that aside words are sung with awkward emphasis in a bunch of tracks.

I listened to some of the new Taylor Swift album on my way to work and I think the thing that gets me the most is that the songs and song writing sound so half-baked and amateur for an accomplished artist's 12th full length release
