A bit more on the "Ru will sue us!" hysteria. It's very easy for politicians to hide behind legal arguments. Scholars in the law/politics/econ field have long argued independent courts exist so politicians can unload hot potato issues or deflect blame when they want to do something unpopular.

It has already filed cases in its own courts, which are Putin-controlled kangaroo courts. Who cares how they rule? They have no enforcement capacity outside Ru. Ru could also sue in..
