June 27, 2023. The day we brought her home from the hospital after a 3 day stay. She couldn’t breathe or walk. We thought we’d lose her. They worked a miracle and got her back home. That’s our daughter hugging her while we all cried tears of joy. This has been pinned over there since that day 🐾❤️

This is an annual event in Half Moon Bay. The only issue is that this is basically a weekend long festival that attracts thousands. But it’s all one lane roads leading into town. Probably my we’ve never gone. But that is an impressive pumpkin!

You can put something on top to press, but I don’t bother. Tight wrap with the plastic wrap basically does the same thing.

I’d add that you can add any additional appealing sounding spices along with the salt & sugar. I added red pepper flakes to this one. And after you rinse & pat dry with paper towels, put them on a wire rack uncovered in the fridge overnight so it dries thoroughly.

<stock photo>. Super simple. Just cut the filet in half, generous coating of equal parts kosher salt & brown sugar on both halves, put the fresh sides together with fresh dill in between, wrap tight with plastic wrap, into a freezer bag. Fridge for 3-4 days, turning each day. Then rinse & dry

10/14/14. Giants Cardinals NLCS game 3. A rare Tuesday midday game. My wife called our daughter’s school saying she wasn’t feeling well, then we headed to the city early for lunch before going to the game. A 10th inning walk off win!
