A woman with red mid length hair and a fringe, wearing a disposable pale blue mask and dark-rimmed glasses, a black dress with turquoise flowers, and a black cardigan. She is seated at a table with an historical book open to a page. The identifying information of anyone on that page has been covered by a sheet of paper for data protection purposes. Behind the woman are a series of shelving units with archival documents.

In a few weeks people might say "Oh Hannah, you have calluses on your hands, do you work out?" And my answer will be "no", because actually my toddler has discovered the ability to put a song on repeat, how fun it is to make me do things...and Queen's We Will Rock You

I PHONED AS SOON AS IT HIT 08:00:00 HOW AM I NUMBER 33

I know very little about Jilly Cooper and I don't really like the Royal Family but it is wild that the Queen just basically said "I hope my pal is bonking in heaven"

I haven't had any noticeable bugs recently so this increase in pain and fatigue probably means a flare-up? Urghhhh
hanarchovist.bsky.social
Though it doesn't matter, really. I used to feel like you could imagine the end of experiencing a virus but struggle to see the end of a flare-up (though be aware that it is temporary). But then I got Long COVID and that felt never-ending.

How do you work out when something is a flare-up rather than an illness? I have fibromyalgia and lupus and I know I'm not having a lupus flare but I am maybe two weeks into a considerable increase in pain and fatigue and I am struggling to determine what's going on

Toddler's language has just shot up again in recent days and I'm having whole conversations with him followed by a mental double-take of "wait when did he learn that word/phrase?!"

I have been cited for jury duty for the fifth time? I have been excused on medical grounds for FOUR times now, one this year already, and need to find out how I can get permanently excused because I'm not ever going to be well enough for jury duty and this is just a waste of everyone's time.

We tried Boots and no luck 😢 printed some off before we realised they were gloss, tried again and had no option to change

We tried there yesterday 😢

Does anyone know where I can print or order printed photos that are MATTE and not going to be used by AI? Matte is essential as they're for someone with Alzheimers who struggles with shiny things

Finally starting this tomorrow. We are doing pages based on theme and not chronologically, as some of you suggested. Should we put anything on the first page, like a title ("X's Memory Book")? Should there be a page with facts about them (e.g. name, DOB, where they grew up?) #Alzheimers #Dementia

#Alzheimers #Dementia - if you were making a memory book for someone (covering family, friends, sporting life, their occupation, etc.), would you have to organise it by theme (and then chronologically within that) or just chronologically? (Or does it matter?) Don't want to confuse the recipient

Does the government report itself to the ICO when the digital ID card system inevitably gets breached?

No one needs my permission but you're not weak if you need to take any sort of painkillers during pregnancy and you sure as shit don't deserve to be shamed by one of the most disgusting men on this planet for doing so.

If I can smell your aftershave with every window open the problem isn't my autism

I've been reminded of two particular True Blood characters recently.

ANYWAY, turns out this happens a lot to her

I said to the owner of the garden "hello can you help me escape the hospital grounds" and then said "if this was a certain different hospital nearby you probably would be worried if I said that" and honestly that probably didn't help the situation
hanarchovist.bsky.social
Last time I went to this hospital (Astley Ainslie) I got so lost in the grounds that I ended up in someone's garden. Wish me luck for today.

Me, with palaeography: "that could be an 'g' but their 'g' usually looks like this...but the word doesn't make sense unless it's a 'g'. Why can't people be consistent??!"

Me, with my own writing: three different ways of doing 'e', 'E' and 'x'.

I used to think feminism was bad!
