My bedroom has a leak. The leak is from the wall. The wall is the responsibility of the owner's corp. A plumber came yesterday, checked the wall, confirmed there's a leak likely in that wall.
My building manager has said that this isn't enough evidence and I need to get more info.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

It's so weird that Melbourne has a public holiday for horse racing. The previous one was also for the day before the Australian footie grand final.
At least the football holiday was more ethical than a day off for rich people to gamble and watch horses being abused.

I don't think I've come across a poem that taps into my ethos when it comes to navigating queer community within the context of a hostile world as much as "We Have Enough Dead Friends" by Lena Oleanderson.

WorldAnvil have managed to update their UI in such a way that I now experience lag typing in textboxes and get motion sickness from navigating the site.

I say this with love and as someone who has had exes circle the block many times: ppl who do this often have little respect for you and think they have you in such a chokehold that you’ll always give them a second chance. The ppl who truly care work very, very hard to get it right the first time.
Sometimes I really want to believe in the idea of two people just needing time apart to heal/grow before coming back together in love and “getting it right”, but at the same time I just really want someone to be right for me and do right by me the first time. Not perfect, but right.
