But now, two performances into Macbeth now with one more to go this week (and three more next week), I know I have no regrets about it.

Every single time I have completely blanked on a line, I'm in a scene with Lady Macbeth.

Opening night for Macbeth was a success! We didn't have a large crowd, but that was to be expected on a work night.

I missed one line, fortunately, my scene partner understood my under-the-breath, non-Shakespearean "shit" to mean "Please do your next line of dialog before I die here."

It's kind of wild that in this shutdown fight, if you follow the logic of what Republicans are saying, they are basically arguing that if a person shows up at an ER bleeding out from a gun wound or suffering from a cardiac arrest, they should be turned away if they can't show their papers.

#Indianapolis folks: On October 2, 3, 4 and 9, 10, 11, the Garfield Shakespeare Company will be performing Macbeth at the Garfield Park Amphitheatre (2425 Conservatory Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46203). Performances are free to attend and start at 7:30PM.
