Guy just left. He managed to free the sheet that I think was caught in the motor under the center. I think I'm just going to toss it and run a rinse cycle and take everything to the laundromat since I've already packed up most of it.
Still waiting on maintenance but I may just go grab some supplies from the store and pack everything up for the laundromat. Here's hoping it's not too busy and I can get in and out easily.

I think I knew I was stuck but I made the conscious decision to not be stuck. I quit chasing. I quit letting them weaponize my words. I quit roles and walked away from opportunities, despite my praises being sung. And I am going to keep walking because I know there's something better ahead.

So I had to move it over to the island because there is barely a half inch between the top and the cabinet bottom. Why it matters: there's a top burner and if I hit the wrong switch in my morning stupor, it's going to be more than a problem. It may also be easier to fill the reservoir from here.

I love the Charlie Brown Christmas special. There's an eerie loneliness that hangs over the whole thing. The music, Charlie Brown's depression, the dying little tree, the flatness of the children's voices, the inevitability of death. A Christmas masterpiece.
