I still have two pour over carafes, so I'm debating whether to just rotate them out and get rid of the included one

I'm also trying to figure out if I can take the top off the diner looking carafe that came with it. I am not a fan of plastic being in contact with my food and that's the case here. I also can't fit my hand inside the mouth to clean it so that's an issue.
