I'll give him this. Nobody can believe what's going on. That is undeniable.

Also, he's a fucking moron.

If you're enjoying the Forking Off podcast and want former feds recognized with a Webby, consider helping us pay the registration fee for the Public Service & Activism award category.

Haven't listened yet? Check us out: creators.spotify.com/pod/profile/...

Did you know Webby has a public service podcast award?

We think following a year of assault on public servants, a podcast for former feds by former feds could take it, but we're looking for help paying the registration fee.

Not convinced? Check us out at forkingoff.com.

Check out our new episode with former USAID communications advisor Ali Syverson! When the destruction began, Ali turned to the arts to rest, root, and regrow.

She is now using visual art as a medium to preserve the history of USAID for future generations.

Get inspired. Be like Ali.
Ali Syverson is preserving USAID's history through art. In this episode, Ali describes the day democracy died, why she chose to paint the unraveling, and how it raised $15k for displaced USAID families returning from abroad.

I'm confused. The National Security Strategy said Trump negotiated peace between Thailand and Cambodia. What does this say about his seven other 'mission accomplished' claims? I feel like the White House may have lied to the American public. Surely, not... 🫠

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

In this week's episode, we heard straight from Sarah Ellison Hernandez, former immigration judge at the Dallas Immigration Court, about how the administration is undermining and defying courts and twisting the law and policy in favor of political agendas.
Former immigration judge Sarah Ellison Hernandez details the moment she saw the administration defy a court order and knew she had to resign. This isn't just about immigration policy. It's about intentional defiance of the law, and the people who step up to stop it.

Finally sitting down to dissect this weird manifesto that dropped recently. It's called the "National Security Strategy."

I think I'm going to do a probably ill-advised thing and post my thoughts as I go. 🧵

I think this solidifies soccer as the least American professional sport, and we should all agree to never think about it again.

Will I miss the World Cup bar scene? Yes.

Will it help the parts of the world where the sport matters? No.

But FIFA Peace Prize? Fuck that. Bye.

New episode! This week on the @forkingoff.com podcast we talked with former EPA employee, Andrew Kreider, to learn how the administration illegally froze federal grants and violated union contracts, while attempting to force employees to lie to Congress and the public.

"Hope is not a feeling. It's a choice, and it's a choice that demands action."

Unprecedented assaults on federal employees and the rule of law led Andrew Kreider to leave the EPA after 29 years.

They've all lost the plot. This wasn't a war crime because there is no legal basis to call it armed conflict. It was murder. In an international legal context under the ICC's Rome Statute it would be Crimes Against Humanity, defined as systematic attacks directed against a civilian population.
A top Republican and Democrats in Congress suggested on Sunday that U.S. military officials might have committed a war crime in President Trump’s offensive against boats in the Caribbean after a Washington Post report said that during one attack, a follow-up strike was ordered to kill survivors.
