Done except for chasing threads. Finished size 48"x48" going to my 2yo great grandson. Fabric line: Goodnight Moon FQ bundle, Batting: washable wool, Pattern: unknown. Pieced, quilted in the hoop, and bound by me.

I am making a scrappy binding for the baby quilt. The strip sizes range from 8" - 18" with alternating long, shortx3, long . . . I don't see me doing one like this again anytime soon. But, it's a perfect match and uses up most of the scraps. I keep it neat by rolling onto a cellphone case. #quiltsky

This first real snow of the season. I'm thinking about trying downhill skiing again this year. It's been 20 years since the last time. I expect it will hurt yet still be fun. I won't know unless I try.

May those who walked away find peace and their choice be respected.
My sister Deb walked away. It has been 38 years since I have seen her. I miss her. I understand and respect her choice. Eventually, she tracked me down and we chat.

Wowzers did I get lucky w/bobbin chicken!
I'm quilting in the hoop & went to pull up the bobbin thread & got nothing. I checked the bobbin & there is NO thread, zip, zilch, nadda! I panicked & checked the last motif. A small easy to fix bit, but no missed stitches! It's complete!
