I do book covers myself but my style isn’t in a similar vein. For similar artists, I’d recommend Alyssa Winans, StoryWrappers and c.e.illo. Also hugely recommend the subreddit r/BookCovers as a place to find smaller artists with a similar style. Good luck!

I just said this to a client but it's worth sharing widely: any failures you are worrying about re: low book sales might not be real!

And even if they are real, those failures won't be your fault. It's your job to write a good book. It's everyone else's job to sell it. BookTok is a lie!

I am struggling so much with finding a writing group in the new town I've moved to. There's one that 30 quid each meetup (Jesus Christ) and then one that is for women only... I am a trans masc person.

Near-deafening silence answered him, and within it, the crunch of my boots against the snow as I strode closer. The tips of my fingernails, curved into claws, carved against the dry bark of a nearby tree, the low scrape reverberating through the empty forest—a sound I knew would only sweeten the terror in my victim’s heart. The drunken businessman cried out my name once more. As if anyone was foolish enough to be here out at night, and even if they were, nobody would believe his panicked words. Gumiho.
