Hello to new followers! I post on here about the two podcasts I do with @gavinbroom.bsky.social (List of Lists and @corriepodcast.com), I also post about our cats and dog, random stuff like politics, but mostly about my job in an auction house as the books, music and art cataloguer.

Mark Wahlberg has made some stinkers this year, (who was asking for Family Plan 2?) but this one is redeemed by the death of Mark Cuban.

This is the way.
I cannot stress enough that is some rando responds to something you reposted trying to draw you into a “but have you considered” discussion of it, they are not acting in good faith, and you just block. Please, embrace the blue sky way. block. block. block.

Look, the fact that she was the narrator of the aquarium in Finding Dory was such a niche piece of comedy, having fish say "Thanks Sigourney Weaver", made the movie for me.

Look, when we went to Barbenheimer, people were dressed up. People were taking selfies with strangers in the concession line. You had a packed theater laughing and crying together. You can't get that sitting alone in your living room, or watching on your phone.

Oh hey speaking of garbage people who should just shut up already.
California Governor Gavin Newsom said on Thursday that the Democratic Party needed to be “more culturally normal” and “less judgmental.”

Can we just stop talking about all of Tarantino's hot takes which are all from an interview on fellow garbage person Brett Easton Ellis's podcast? Lillard is a national treasure and deserves to be treated as such.

Scream and Five Nights at Freddy's star Matthew Lillard has admitted it "it f***ing sucks" to be on the receiving end of an insult from Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill director Quentin Tarantino. https://bit.ly/3KD9PnN

Blue whale
If you could own one outrageous, unreasonable, absolutely not feasible to own type animal

What would you get

It can be kinda basic (maybe an armadillo or a very unique breed of tarantula or an expensive high maintenance dog) or out there (lions tigers bears oh my)

I would get

...all of them

Reminds me of the ol witch dunk test.
“… stay in the fight.”

Or, just maybe, they were succumbing to the natural human instinct of trying to survive.

It’s like saying “if only they hadn’t tried to live we wouldn’t have had to kill them.”

Used to hear this all the time when I still worked in libraries. The most ridiculous question ever though was, "can you only take books out, or can you take the librarians out too?"
That and "It must be nice to spend all day reading as your job" make me want to throw things.
