Twelve princesses 👑
At last, I have finished my drawing! Here it is: ink drawing featuring 12 princesses walking in side profile to the right. They are walking through an orchard that hangs with crystal pears and (were this in color) silver and gold branches. The princess at the front has a lantern. The princess at the back is looking startled over her shoulder.

Work on the Almanac progresses, but I am pausing to tease this little prairie goblin drawing that I absolutely adore.

The "Frieren angle" thing, apart from just being delightful, also completely demolishes the pathetic "AI is democratising art" argument. Someone struggling with a difficult drawing received advice from hundreds of strangers who just wanted to help them improve their art.

Late Drawtober Days 21-25-Troll Toll 🧌💎

I wasn't at home for the submissions but that ok, I will finish all the prompts either way. I want to finish this story.

Marhell has a coin purse in their right hand, ther is wisps around their head. Right page-The invite distribution is almost done, just a few left whose recipients are waiting on the other side of the river, on the other side of the bridge. This bridge has for reputation to be the home of a particularly greedy Troll. Most people avoid this bridge, because of that. If you cross it but don’t have the money to pay the toll. Don’t worry, your firstborn or a little span of your life will be the perfect price to cross the bridge. Thankfully, the princess gifts the little messenger, a purse full of gold coins and jewels as a thanks for the invitation . It should be enough. No need to trade something far more precious just before the festivities.

She looks like a mix of human and dragon, four horns, yellow eyes with slit pupils, scales on her greenish skin and a dragon tail poking out of her red dress. She reachs for a floating invitation surrounded by wisps. Right page- There are rumors about this part of the forest, knights and princes enter it in search of glory and honor, never to be seen again. Some folk compare it to the Vale of No Return. The little Fae follows nervously the will-o’-the-wisp who directs them to the next recipient. It stops at the foot of an old dungeon. A voice coming from a window where a pumpkin sits on the ledge, warning them to leave if they want to stay alive. The Messenger presents themself. It’s when she appears at the window. The Spellbound Princess A princess cursed to be her own dragon, prisoner in this dungeon until someone free her. But no knights or princes seem to succeed and if the pile of armours, swords and skulls at the foot of the tower, indicated anything. They pay it by losing their lives. But with this invite, she’s gained one night outside this prison, without fear to harm anyone. One night of freedom.

A book open, on a left page there is an illustration and on the right a text. Left page-Marhell look up as a mushroom pixie "cup" their face. Both are looking in each other eyes. The pixie an amused smile on the face. Right page- It’s been a long time since the little Fae has come in this part of the Faërie. This is where most of the Pixies live, those tiny fairies tend to be mischievous. With their absence of wings, the little fae doesn’t want to be the subject of the mockeries of the Pixies. Thankfully, the recipient is not one who mocks them. She is part of the Mushroom fairy clan. They are less inclined to malice than the other pixies clan. That doesn't mean they don’t trick humans during their mushroom picking. They also put fairy rings outside of Faërie, mostly created during the equinoxes festivities. Be careful if you see a fairy ring, never enter it especially during Ostara, Samhain and Yule. Otherwise, you will disappear into Faërie. Never to be seen again.
