got a couple of hours of sleep. then got a late night call from a friend and thought, maybe i need this. didn't sleep again after that bc while it helped, immediately after it just set me off on flashbacks again.

The flipside of this, I realise, is that when friends were being really really lovely to me, they weren't doing it because I was having a terrible day – because they didn't know that until I told them – they were just acting like that because that's who they are
It is strange how when it feels like everything's collapsing around me, the world is just marching on as normal. Anyone trying to get in touch me with has genuinely no idea of what's going through my head. It's just like any other day.

When I was leaving the hospital, a doctor/nurse came up to me with a leaflet and said “there’s a leaflet on what to do in the event of a mental crisis… I can’t give it to you because you don’t live in this borough”

Is it not common sense, if you are going to call for the Prime Minister to resign, to make sure that you either have others who will follow you, or that you are significant enough that you alone will be enough?

When I was in hospital for a serious mental episode, when I was calm enough to leave, I was approached by the doctor/nurse who was holding a leaflet about dealing with a mental crisis - and she said, "we can't give you this because you don't live in this borough"
