"What if we thought of the internet...as a damaged and struggling ecosystem facing destruction?"

Only read this through once, but somehow this way of framing our current 'situation' fills me with more optimism than I've managed to muster for a while.

Some fantastic work-in-progress being shown of the latest @subvert.fm developments.

An awesome community emerging around an amazingly optimistic, exciting new platform.

As the kids used to say, "yes, we can".

Ian Leslie's 'John and Paul' pulls off something spectacular and gives us new perspectives on the songs we thought there was nothing more to say about.

It's a really moving, insightful, beautiful read.

Also, he's pro-Paul.
Unfashionable, but totally correct :)

The guys in the seasonal archive department have asked me to remind you all that we made a Christmas song a few years ago.

It's melancholy, but it has a lovely video.

Have a wonderful, peaceful holiday everyone.

Soundtrack this morning, the awesome Americana cast recording of the Daniel Fish Oklahoma!

Honest to god, that was one of the best things I've ever seen in a theatre.

Which reminds me, check out the new 'Blue Moon' movie if you can, set that night that it originally opened. Heartbreaking.
