I'll never accept the "It's just placeholder" argument because.. why does a placeholder have to look "good"?
Ideally, you want placeholder assets to STICK OUT so you remember to replace them.
They want the satisfaction of a thing looking "good" at every step, which is a waste of time and resources.

Just to work! When I lived a mile away, one of my bosses would normally pick me up. Forte comes down to play trivia and hang out and drive me home when I close.
This shift is super nice, but I get paid mostly in cash so it's just easier to try to get the Lyft paid for digitally.

Shit's being made specifically to be rug pulled, or it's just gambling, or it only makes 1 billion instead of 2 billion so the team is laid off because infinite growth is still a pipe dream we're aiming for.
