A red squirrel nibbled cone. Also yesterday in forest school, apparently squirrels will eat fungi in times of desperation, but don't like slimy ones, so take them up trees to dry out. So if you spot a ground growing fungi up a tree, it's the squirrels wot did it...
Getting all the wildlife round here. Pine marten running past window, toads, frogs, newts, a lizard in our neighbour's garden, tons of birds including eagles and, of course, all the deer around us.
