I have no idea why, but for some reason the coffee prices were the thing that broke me. I was okay with the $5.79 boxes of Cheerios and the $7.99 eggs but when I saw the $9.99 jug of ground Folgers coffee going for $17.99 my brain suddenly went "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH."

with fanfest coming back around people are reflecting on the furry covid comic about it but as someone who went, there were shockingly few people actually wearing masks. if you go this year i’d really recommend an N95. people knowingly go to huge public events with infectious diseases.

I propose November 1st as resurgence day. Halloween ends, and we all pick up the phones again. MasterCard and Visa, bare minimum, once per day. Every day. All of us. They are only hiring the usual number of holiday workers, this would frighten credit card companies. “It’s not going away”
