Notifications of comments is still one of those fail points I feel like keeps happening with blogging comments.
I also don't like how I've integrated bluesky into my own website for blog commenting because people replying don't know they could have their comment approved to show on my site.

Faaa Cloudflare Turnstile is the piece I didn't think about. (I had been using reCaptcha.) Though that's still easier to fix than DNS. I just don't know that I have a fallback to Turnstile (since I won't give reCaptcha a credit card it can infinite spend on.)

Not having all your eggs in one basket gives you more ways to fix some things if you need to.
This is kinda an argument for Cloudflare not being your registrar so you could change hosts which would allow you to forcibly change the authoritative DNS if you wanted to. Same for any CDN really.
That's the main thing I see in this (though how long do you wait before you do that amount of work.)

Not having all your eggs in one basket gives you more ways to fix some things if you need to.
@stream.place love that I can listen to an audio only situation with my phone in my pocket and also the pip (or whatever it’s called on iPhone) so I can use more than one app and still see what’s going on with Streamplace.

I’m annoyed that I have drafts of several things that would seriously help a number of people IF I could work out a few details AND make sure updates are near realtime (which isn’t quite possible with either feedbuilder I tinker with.)

Poking at the new Affinity app and for a few seconds I was impressed ... and then I wasn't. Proprietary .af file. Ok fine, I'll export my vector scribble test.
But then I exported as an EPS file. It flattens the layers. Why? I've been "saving as" EPS files w/ layers from Illustrator since 1999.

There are two labels !hide and !warn that a moderator can use to hide or warn for serious bad content. The warming levels are fixed in the client (if implemented, Skywalker does).
It turns out any labeler can apply these labels!
In the next release you can change the levels for these labels
