I just wanted to start presenting the things I think about (which are similar to how I look for hosting companies) as I’m gathering some info.

I have some smaller compartment boxes that I’ve had for 20+ years so I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to think to store the thread like this.

It’s a really useful style of box. Would be perfect for legos. I think I saw somewhere someone storing hotwheels in them too.

I have set up SO many different PDS accounts recently and I'm going to start pointing it out... I just kinda dread this process too.

I knew it was coming back when I did the first rounds of social media management app tests. It goes beyond that though.

I had issues where mine had disconnected and I was alerted when I opened the Germ app. If it looks like it won’t reconnect, try removing the text version from your bio? (Make a copy in case I’m wrong. I started over before I realized what might be keeping it from reconnecting.)

Heads up that I had an issue with “Your Germ card has been disconnected from ATProto (Bluesky).”

Couldn’t get it to “reconnect” so I moved on to “Delete disconnected card” and then couldn’t create a new one …

Until I realized I needed to delete the existing germ text from my bluesky bio.

Only phone number I have that works with Signal is my cell #. I think I tried my ancient 888 # back when I had that even amongst others.

Doesn't fix the focus mode issue I don't think either. So maybe I would really like a second app for that granularity anyway.

Groups moving from discord to signal seems the likely thing to happen here.

The question I still have for @signal.org is: separate acct for business needs when? Or better, a 2nd app?

I have issues with notification granularity / prioritization for biz & personal being all jumbled into one thing.
