Yep. I think it was 60 Minutes that did an expose on Bannon years ago in which Bannon was trying to topple the Catholic Church from the inside & replace Pope Francis’s social justice orientation with a right-wing populist nationalist orientation.

Trump 2.0 is a coalition of malevolent authoritarian ideologues and lazy, get-rich-quick scammers. Some see Russian authoritarianism as a model to be emulated, others see Russia as their ticket to easy money. As far as Putin is concerned, they’re both just useful idiots.

This is a wonderful resource. But I do have questions. In California, the largest area (not numbers) of same sex couples is in the desert east of Riverside (so about 100 miles from L.A. ). I wonder what that is about?

This does make sense of a lot of our politics.
things become easier to understand once the realization sinks in that many powerful or influential people are - very literally - con artists, fraudsters, and criminals
