Indiana Dunes State Park was also where every Prothonotary Warbler in the Midwest was hanging out in May. If you didn't get to see one, so sorry, they were all at the marsh boardwalk. This one looks like it just got out of the bath. 😊🧵 #birds

Indiana Dunes National Park! We climbed up and down 490 stairs to West Beach, felt the waters of Lake Michigan on our feet, and meandered through the Great Marsh Trail.

Some great friends took me up to the Smoky Mountains today via the legendary windy-road the “Dragon”. I’ve probably been there once in the past 50 years and it was wonderful.1 problem: the loss of $$ for National Parks means untidy rest areas & overgrowth that blocks the magnificent views🥺

It was hard to capture the beauty of Pinnacles National Park, but it's an amazing place to see in person. Something new and uniquely interesting around every corner.

Just back from a trek to Joshua Tree National Park. That place rocks. Shout out to all the Rangers and volunteers who made my trip so positive. They do a great job. #NationalParksRock
