ordered a new CPU fan/cooler because my PC has shut itself off twice in the past month, and I can't find the problem (tho the temp was getting a little high for my liking)

it just came in, this thing is a fucking 6x6x6 inch cube, I'm scared it'll snap my motherboard in half like a glow stick

Well it finally happened. My external hard drive where ALL of my past and current blender work was has died and I can't afford to replace it. Any c0mms/ko-fi tips are appreciated right now so I can replace it and get back into making art.

TIL that usernames in Deadlock don't always match the Steam name.

Nearly reported someone for having a username that was *dangerously* close to the N-word, had to do a little digging to find them.

Turns out their name was something like "Sonic Hedgehog" but entirely in non-standard characters

seeing him be pro-AI sucks but reading this shows me he has no fucking clue what he's talking about, that he thinks people hate AI as a tool instead of the LITERAL LOADS OF OTHER PROBLEMS PEOPLE HAVE WITH IT.

Playing the new Digimon game (it's very good! I recommend it (so far) if you enjoyed Cyber Sleuth!) and the base costume keeps making me think of Kamen Rider and like... some VERY good classic anime outfits, so even though it's kinda goofy I'm here for it lol

SaGa Frontier 2 (honestly, the whole Saga series) feels like something only a handful of people I've met know about at any given time, it's a frankly wild series that not only has some very beautiful artwork and designs at times, but really interesting mechanics for the times when the games came out

found out today that my boss's boss bought a bunch of licenses from WinZip like a year ago and forgot to tell us or hand them out to us LMAO

we've been having to make do with standard Windows zip file management which is... not great

a purple rank throwing knife in Borderlands 4, with the frankly wild combination of increasing the damage taken by enemies hit, AND making any attacks against them auto-critical for 5 seconds

I was running the Bubble Buddy build (specifically an infinite ammo variant) BUT enough people complained about either not being able to see through the bubble, or the little halo buddy getting right in their eyes, I had to stop.

so now I drop bodies AND frame rates LMAO

I wouldn't say that, I've been telling people who asked to DEFINITELY wait for a sale (and an optimization patch) so there will definitely be people playing it (plus the new VHs that will be dropping over the next year)

it's better than 3, I can definitely confirm that

beat BL4 last night.

it runs fine on my PC, definitely has some optimization issues (I had to run it on minimal settings and my PC is only a year or two old)

I know I made the right choice for character (Harlowe) because none of my friends are playing her lol
