Rather than pick a favorite, I gotta say the feat of turning a licensing company back into a production company is amazing.
Hey, post a moment you love from Kathleen Kennedy's stewardship of Lucasfilm.

“I will charge my people 10% more starting in June unless you give territory to us. I am very smart.”
Trump just placed a tariff on most of the EU of 10% that will increase to 25% in June unless they agree to sell him Greenland.

This is mad king shit.

I'm playing @dcellgames.com' Unbeatable right now and god I wish I had time for this in 2025 so I could put it on my GOTY list! Amazing rhythm game, a "putting the band together" experience that takes as much inspiration from over-the-top music videos as it does Rock Band (maybe more?)

Want your Steam Store page critiqued live for all to see at GDC this year? I'm doing some sports desk style commentary with Chris Zukowkis to give some direct but encouraging feedback on Steam pages people submit!

Hopefully we can stem the bleeding and/or prevent some future problems 😅

“What this cheery accommodation to a new commercial regime obscures is the neoliberal restructuring of the classroom, where debt-saddled students and overworked adjuncts come together in overcrowded classrooms to transact knowledge exchange and produce actionable data points.” 🔥🔥

You know what? I'm gonna go contrarian. I bet this can work. He'll be a creative director, not a showrunner.

Get talented people making things they want to make and it doesn't matter who's at the top of the org chart.

if you try to focus on Trump’s authoritarianism, Schumer will deflect and say people want us to focus on affordability. but when Zohran Mamdani made affordability the heart of his campaign Schumer refused to endorse him because they disagree about Israel. it’s all mealy mouthed bullshit.

dropped loot

…did ICE literally drop loot last night?
ICE agents fled from the crowd and left behind their CONOPS battle plan for Minneapolis, including agent's names, hotel rooms, phone numbers, boxes of license plates, and tac radio frequencies.

They aren't specialists in violence they're just dicks the government gave badges to, don't mythologize being a thug because you're scared of loud noises
It’s worth considering that an overnight dismantling of ICE in 2029 would release into the wild a whole herd of specialists in violence with scant other marketable skills.

When people say Sweet Baby Inc is a consultancy, I need you all to understand that this is what kind of consultancy they mean. We are a merry band of Writers and Narrative Designers that *you* can hire to be *your* merry band of Writers and Narrative Designers. That’s all.
Consultancies that employ writers and designers give those workers a place to be employed by, so they're not all individual freelancers.
