Reading this and realizing that BL like Heated Rivalry is now in the "cozy" genre for a lot of people because it (sort of) removes the restrictions and trauma of hierarchical structures.

Also explains a lot about the comments I see on toxic smut.

I do love the internet
Condé Nast forgot to renew the trademark for Gourmet and so a group of journalists grabbed it and are relaunching the food magazine as a worker-owned co-op. Love it. [gourmetmagazine.net]

What if we just kept reading books where queer and trans people end up having a pretty good time?
2026 isn't off to a great start, but we at the QT Library are trendsetters and think all of these things should be in for this year. It involves way more books, queer joy, and letting us be who we are without fear.

💭 What are you aspiring to be in 2026?

Steam Deck is an abomination that shouldn't have worked and YET.

Competitors have either been too niche, relied on cloud only, or were too expensive for most people. The closest we have is the ROG Ally, which should've been a slam dunk since you can actually get it at Best Buy. And YET
it's kind of crazy that the Steam Deck is nearly four years old and hasn't been completely eclipsed by any of its handheld competitors

Did this post introduce you to the QT Library? If so, hi!
This post is how YOU just found out about the QT Library
I just found out about the existence of @qtlibrary.org ... a group building a physical LGBTQ library in Boston.

This is fantastic.

One of the biggest challenges working in social media right now is looking at what all the platform heads are saying and wondering how much of it is actually real.

In case you've seen the story about “grok now only generates images for paid users”, it's untrue. Apparently everyone just reported it because… it was what grok told them 🤦🏼

No, Grok hasn’t paywalled its deepfake image feature

I see this game all over TikTok (so I assume Twitch too), and I've been trying to figure out why people keep playing it. They think the guy that hangs out with Clancy Brown is cute I think?

But also the robots *do* go to the back of the bus.
