Vitamin D supplements and aging that vitamin D may help slow cellular aging, but the evidence is still developing. This reminded me that supplements can be helpful for some people, but they don’t replace a healthy lifestyle.

Looking back at my 24-hour diet, I had a banana for breakfast, egg and rice for lunch, and tofu soy soup with rice for dinner. Writing it out made me realize my meals are pretty carb-heavy. It was easy to record, but it might not be perfectly accurate.

Fun fact: Not all carbohydrates are the same. While added sugars raise blood sugar quickly, sugar substitutes and fiber-rich carbs don’t have the same effect. Choosing the type of carbs matters more than cutting all carbs. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

It’s heartbreaking that RFK Jr.’s graphic may end up in school books and USDA materials. Kids deserve science-based guidance, not confusion. Nutrition education should build health, not rewrite evidence to fit ideology.

I learned that it is important to question claims about anti-cancer or antioxidant benefits when they do not include information about dosage. Without knowing how much someone would need to consume, it is difficult to evaluate the strength and reliability of the evidence. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

I'm PharmD student and live alone, so I'm very interested in food and nutrition. Some people say apples, bananas, bread and coffee for breakfast are bad, while others say they're fine.
