like, what i mean is a lot of the shows that people obsess over are things that likely were maaaybe pitched in 2016, entered production 17, started airing 18. shera. infinity train. primal. okko. owl house. the list goes on and half of these cartoons kind of lived and died thanks to covid numbers.
i'd genuinely forgotten that i watched steven universe future when it aired, so i rewatched the whole thing and went "yep, that sure was for older teens becoming disillusioned with adult figures."
