Navigating reproductive healthcare is a real life nightmare millions of women are faced with each day, and it's what inspired Genna Edwards to create the incredible horror short, BRIAN WON'T WEAR CONDOMS. Article by @sharai.bsky.social #horrorsky
The Horrors of Reproductive Health Inspired ‘Brian Won’t Wear Condoms’

From animal cruelty to annoying af personalities, some horror opts for shock instead of meaning. @sharai.bsky.social is back to explain how it's a problem (and what it reveals) in her latest article. #horrorsky
Choosing Shock Value Over Writers Is Very Telling
There is a huge difference between a movie being remembered for being good and a movie being remembered because it’s controversial. As a writer, I can forgive an okay film with an amazing script. Howe...

‘Audition’ (1999): A First-Time Watch Review
Audition is one of the most notorious 1990s horror movies that I had yet to catch up with. While it might be shameful that it took me this long, my delay allowed me an opportunity. I can approach it w...

You knew it would be bad, I knew it would be bad. But The Strangers: Chapter 3 was so violently emotionless that I can't even say that I'm mad at it, just tired. It didn't even have the Heat Seeking Boar Missile this time.

‘The Strangers: Chapter 3’ Review: Visual Melatonin
As The Strangers: Chapter 3 reached its midpoint, tears pricked at my cheeks in that dimly lit theatre. Not from any considerable stir of emotion for our heroine Maya, or The Strangers themselves. The...
