First up in our Urban Golf Designs: Central Park in New. York City. This location is SCREAMING for an 18-hole golf course. Beautiful water features that we could incorporate into the design. If you think you need a park for kids, dogs, etc. Move to the fucking suburbs. Or golf.

Jones I get saving for a lefty, but man the Ms never brought one in when he would have come up. Having him and Ibanez on the same roster was redundant, and both never saw the field as a result. And then having a guy as bad as Sweeney on the roster who literally only plays in an emergency is awful.

The other issue is they had two lefty mashers sitting on the bench who were useless against righties, so you couldn’t bring them in all. And then Trey Sweeney who is so bad he literally didn’t play at all. This roster construction was REALLY bad and came back to bite them.

Crazy that the Tigers lived on matchups and “chess moves” and Hinch never did anything but let these guys keep come up and not hit. I mean, Perez at any point for Meadows or Baez would have been worth a try.

If it ends here, this team’s inability to manufacture a run is their undoing. Why not have Torres bunt? Just cannot figure out a way to sneak a run across when they have to. Swinging for the fences in a park where nobody hits it over the fence.

I just…he walked back to back guys, missed badly on Ball 1, and Greene swings at the first pitch near the plate. And of course it was high, where he can’t hit. Just a waste of an opportunity.

I know a lot of Tigers fans wanted Suarez at the deadline, but that is one player I think Harris did good in not getting. He’s exactly what they have already up and down the lineup, in that he is absurdly streaky, and strikes out a ton. Just a non-factor in this series so far.

The one run in this game came from a check swing double, steal of third, and a sac fly. Other than Carpenter’s lead off liner, I’m not sure there’s been another hard hit ball from either team.

Really incredible that Ump/Mask cam debuted like 30 years ago, and got all the leaps and bounds in technology, it’s still absolutely awful. Cannot see a thing. Why they ever show it live is beyond me.
