What we’re seeing from this administration is a campaign of fear that’s left many people scared to go to work. That’s why we’re working with Sen. Rebecca Saldaña and Rep. Lillian Ortiz-Self to protect immigrant workers and strengthen Washington’s economy with the Immigrant Worker Protection Act.

Trans day of remembrance is about honoring the people we have lost to anti-trans violence over the last year. As House Democrats we strive to make Washington a place where transgender people can feel safe, can actively participate in their communities, can thrive.

Everyone deserves a place to call home — in every community. When House Democrats passed HB 1220 in 2021, we made it clear that every city must plan for housing that meets the needs of all income levels.
