As flooding continues to impact communities across Western Washington, we are deeply grateful to the first responders, emergency managers, public works crews, nonprofit partners, and volunteers working around the clock, + to neighbors who are checking in and taking care of one another.

It was sobering to see the damage from flooding in places like Sumas and Everson. However, the response in those communities and across the state has been inspiring.
