Trent Miner has placed in waivers for the purpose of reassignment. In two games played with the Avs this season so far he has 2.12 GAA and .909 SV%. He could play for the Eagles as early as tomorrow if he clears. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

The Mikhail Gulyayev situation continues to be one to watch in the KHL for the Avalanche. He’s been listed as a forward more the last few games but is overall just not playing much.

The Avs have signed former University of New Hampshire captain and defenseman Alex Gagne to a two-year, entry-level contract. He was drafted in 2021 by the Lightning but was never signed. He will likely be assigned to the Eagles or the Grizzlies this season. #Avs #GoAvsGo @HockeyMtnHighCO

Given how strong Colorado has been over the last several years, I've been lucky to get a few high picks to cover (a 2nd in 2024, two 1sts in 2023). With no 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round picks for 2025 or 2026, it's gunna be a quiet draft week for me at Dobberprospects.
