I'm personally more into the idea of seeing Finn return than a "return of Ben Solo" movie, but I wouldn't pass up either one.

It's not a zero sum situation. I wish more people understood that.

Yeah, I remember hearing about the Sony thing. It's one of those things where people make fun of it now, but at the time, Spider-Man and X-Men were the only major guaranteed hits Marvel had. Hulk too, to a lesser extent.

Knowing just how big Marvel is now, I cannot even fathom that. Them being one of the biggest IPs in history now has got to be one of the biggest reversals of fortune in history.

I wasn't alive when Marvel went bankrupt. I grew up in the era where they were rebuilding themselves with Marvel Knights, the OG Ultimate Universe, and the pre-MCU movies. I can't imagine how awful it must've been to see them go under this badly in 1996.

Bit of a shame, because I think there's plenty to like about it.

I do feel you on that last part. When something lives rent-free in my head like that, I take the time to disassociate from social media. It's helped me a little bit.

As someone who likes TROS, I'm just numb to it at this point. People gonna act smug about it because they think they're cool.

I don't entirely vibe with the idea Driver wanted, but I'm glad he enjoyed the role enough to come up with this idea.

I’m mixed on Batman Returns because I like what it’s going for, but I think it’s an example of how a director having a vision isn’t always a good thing. Burton could’ve held back a little bit and the movie probably would’ve been better for it.
