mod i wish existed but doesn't: rpg maker 2000 online pvp using the party editor from when you test enemy encounters. this would be completely pointless but funny

#event_bof played everything. My favorite entries were Lalio's and otoshi.b's, and THE FUSOR ARBOR which got disqualified within 2 hours after I posted an impression on it.

every time i see game design talk on here i just think well i've spent too much of my life walking aimless single tile paths in rpgmaker2000 maps and enjoying it so i can't offer any perspective that doesn't make me sound insane

i'm not that against tutorialization in games. i think it can be welcoming when a longform rpg or action game runs you through the basics as you get accustomed to the game's voice and presentation. that being said, it is utterly insane that they put a tutorial in Pocky & Rocky 2 (1994)

usually i try to make a prediction list for gdbg but this year it seems impossible to figure out which particular really good house tunes will be picked
