Yes, Henry Cavill is a great ambassador for the hobby, however, Peter Cushing would be my personal choice for 'Warmaster of Wargaming.'

If I'm not wrong, I believe he has a copy of HG Wells' 'Little Wars' in the last photograph too. 👍

Hence the LMG. 😅 You can afford to miss a couple of shots! I didn't mind sniping, but not at close quarters. I used Engineer class mostly. My mate was usually support with ammo & the missus went medic. We played through Bf3, 4, Hardline, BF1, BFV and even 2042 (😕). None of us have played in a year.

Oh yeah, the Sun was ridiculously bright, and the suppression effect was a bit mad too.

I'd love to build a board based on Gulf of Oman or Grand Bazaar. They wete my favourites and would be amazing to game on. Maybe a future project. 👍

Loved the operation metro meat grinder servers. Although admins would abuse the hell out of it. Getting kicked for doing well or getting a good flank with a suppressed M249B and backraging the enemy team, was infuriating! 😅 They've never really been able to replicate Metro though. Sad.

I started playing Battlefield with Bad Company 2. This is the first time I haven't bought a Battlefield game at launch.

WIP: Just working on the 2IC Firefly Officer. I've added some markings to his helmet and jump pack wings, to help distinguish him on the battlefield.

WIP: The ruined house is almost finished and features a Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor perch area. I made some window frames and a dislodged front door from some scrap wood, some peeling wallpaper and made some beams using various parts from the K47 terrain sprue.

The last of my planned @warlordgames.com Konflikt 47 Firefly squads is built and ready for painting.

I've got another 4 Fireflies to build, 2 to accompany each of the platoon commanders. More on them tomorrow.

Tonight I'm starting on the final 6-man Firefly squad, plus I'm building another 4 Fireflies, 2 to accompany each officer.

Then onto the second M2A5 Linebacker Walker. This will complete the armoured platoon.

I'm currently working on another bit of terrain for Konflikt 47.

That's all the Axis forces from @warlordgames.com Konflikt 47 starter set finished & ready to carry out the bidding of the Green Vault - world domination!

I had a lot of fun painting these guys and am very pleased with way they turned out.

The second lot of terrain is almost finished. I've made some rafters for a second floor perch, just for variety. I've also made these 3 pieces fit into one little ruin, or be used seperately.

I just need to add some basing rubble to the ground floor and varnish it. 👍

The US Fireflies Commander is finished.

I painted the gaiters to match his leather flight jacket. I like the extra details on this miniature: the pistol holster on his waist, the buckles on the gaiters and the studs on the soles of the boots. Good stuff. 👍

I finished the first bits of K47 terrain.

Interestingly the terrain is numbered on the sprues, yet there are no assembly instructions to refer to. Not that's it's too much of an issue to figure out how it goes together & I believe it's designed to be built however you want. 👍

My third and final Stahltruppen squad are finished.

This squad has a loadout suited more towards an anti tank role. But still has a couple of Stg44z on hand, should they need to deal with some pesky infantry.

Next week I've got some more Fireflies and terrain to build. 👍

The second Stahltruppen squad are finished.

I decided to give these chaps an LMG loadout for shredding infantry and the NCO has a shoulder mounted panzerfaust to deal with anything armoured.

I'll post the last squad later. 👍

Easy to build, as the arms and weapons are an all in one molded piece. The only loadout that's slightly fiddly is the anti tank gun, and even then it's not too much trouble. No problems painting them either as they hold their weapons on handed, so it doesn't obscure any other parts of the mini.
