The random Grey Plover still hanging around French’s pool the only unusual bird at Lytchett Fields RSPB today. My first Wigeon of the autumn here ( had them in the bay 10-ish days ago.

Not many birds around the main reserve at Martin Down seemingly because they were all in the stubble field(and hedgderow) bordering the reserve. At least 15 Whinchat along a 200m stretch!!
