I’m horrified by Trump’s order to send 300 National Guard troops to Chicago. We’re only nine months into a four year term and already the president is trying to invade an American city. If you’re in the Guard, you can and should refuse these orders.

Exciting day weather-wise here in SW England! This morning has seen it change quite dramatically. Breezy, with spells of warm sunshine, then "end of the world" clouds roll in and the temperature drops as we get brief spells of heavy rain and/or hail accompanied several times with thunder

I decided to get back into guitar playing as I approached retirement, so bought a guitar and a headphone amp.
I've just bought a "real" amp, a Spark 2.
Still getting my head around it, as it uses software presets rather than twiddling controls and lots of effects pedals...

Yesterday was my last day as an employee... I've been upgraded to pensioner level!
Might sound weird, but the most striking thing was walking out without my company laptop. It obviously weighed on me more than I thought.
