The republicans control congress. Democrats did not vote down anything. If the GOP wanted to fund the government, they could have changed the rules to pass a CR with a simple majority like they did 11 days ago to approve 48 trump appointees at once.

Trump threatening members of Congress not to sign the Epstein files discharge petition saying it would be a “hostile act” against him is definitely something an innocent person would do. And scheduling a military flyover in the middle of the survivor press conference is also totally normal behavior.

I remember when the covid vaccine came out and a return to normal life began. I got to hug my vulnerable people again without fear of passing on a potentially lethal virus. I went to the grocery store. Little things. Important things. They are out to kill us all.

Steam a Seam to fuse the fabric, then serrated scissors to cut out shapes. I place the fabric on parchment paper and play around until I like it. It is kind of like a decal. Once you put steam on it, it’s permanent and doesn’t fray too much. I also quilt it in the final phase.

This past year I took up fabric collage as a great way to use scraps and make unique pieces. This is one of 9 blocks in a series by Emily Taylor. It will eventually be part of a wall hanging (I think).
