I've lived here almost all of my life, born and bred, but this does not feel like home for me anymore.

A friend saw several of these ornaments in a thrift store, still in their original packaging & texted me. I didn't see his message, and he didn't know if I already had one/would want it, so he hid it behind the display, so I could come find it if I wanted it. My partner retrieved & bought it today.
