I think the tragic thing is that while despite everything Vox would forgive Al, Al would never seek it out even if he did someday manage to recognise his own fault in how things ended.
They're so fucking bad at communicating & need to be locked in a small room until they talk it out.

And there needs to be SERIOUS appreciation for anyone who TEACHES artists- voice actors, singers, dancers, even athletes- how to perform safely.
(This includes people who let their pupils know that there's still a pandemic going and we should be wearing respirators in public!)

For every story you hear about an actor blowing their vocal chords or passing out etc during a session because of how hard they're going, there are innumerable performers who did the same thing without these issues.
That's where the praise should be going.

I just feel like martyr mentality and praising sacrifice of the body for the art can get into really unsafe territory and maybe we shouldn't do it so much. I care about my fellow actors and don't want them hurting themselves. Anyway, rant over.

For every story you hear about an actor blowing their vocal chords or passing out etc during a session because of how hard they're going, there are innumerable performers who did the same thing without these issues.
That's where the praise should be going.

I loved the entire episode they devoted to Vox and Angel going from fighting to furiously making out on the hood of that VoxTek car from episode 1. The fact Val was streaming it live made me laugh so hard I fell out of my chair.
