update: I am taking piano lessons now. I have learned g and d major so far, along with their cadences. i dont remember the chord names but ill get on that eventually
its kind of scary when my friends say im good at writing music. im literally just pressing buttons. i have no idea what im doing half the time i have a very limited knowledge theory. the only two scales I can remember are c major and minor. im just doing shit and it somehow works

I think critics,devs,audiences should treasure & protect unintuitive genre abstractions. Like static cameras in survival horror games. The fact that its tied to a genre makes it a known language to players. & that's a beautiful thing cuz devs wont have to do the teaching every time they use it
