Um, that is A LOT of snow. I drove home (west end) in a blizzard. Wipers going crazy, no lanes and poor visibility. ☃️☃️
Some more flurries & light snow in the Edmonton region through the evening & the cold air sticks around for a few more days. Milder early next week with more precip in the forecast. Here's your Thu WxBlast video: www.ctvnews.ca/edmonton/vid... #yegwx

So is Mark Carney going to go along with the suspension of human rights by MAGA government in Alberta?
You cant' do nation-building by allowing an autocratic government to suspend the charter rights of citizens.
Just say no Mark.
it's pretty straightforward.

I despise this government. The UCP’s policies mirror those in Trump’s ‘merica. They want the population dumb, sick and Christian.

Whether it’s freaking out about the new Cracker Barrel logo or some other bogeyman, remember this: The GOP’s nonsensical culture wars are meant to distract you from corporate corruption, worker oppression, and staggering wealth inequality.

Science is hard. You gotta prove it, test it, and reproduce the results.
Pseudoscience is easy. You make it up, add some fear, and watch ignorant people spread it.

Question for @joshclassenctv.bsky.social
Is west Edmonton getting disproportionately nailed with these intense rain episodes? We just got hit again and like this afternoon, it was a deluge. So many in the last few days. Everytime I check with my southsiders, they’ve had none, or very little #yegwx

I have NEVER driven in rain like that before. I left just as the thunder started and before I got to 107ave torrential rain. My windshield wipers were going full bore, and still my view was almost completely obscured. By 124 Ave, the road was flooded, lights were out. Unbelievable. #yegwx

I am Canadian, but I just spent Canada Day in small-town Ontario and was gobsmacked by the show of red and white. The whole town (thousands) came out for the parade. It was wonderful. There has been a real surge in Canadian pride. And I am still boycotting American products (as much as possible). 🇨🇦
