-- Make (more) eye-contact with strangers when I'm out and about; say hi! 😃
-- I tend to be shy, so: Use my camera (more often) to break the ice and interact meaningfully.

Palm in Falling Light
Whenever I shoot a series of ICM's, I try to be really picky about which ones work for me, since very few end up being worthy of viewing more than once. For some reason this one keeps jumping back up from the culling/editing floor. 😆

During another visit to the park, I was just playing around with the scenes around me, this one being a palm tree in the backlight of a fading sunset. I used a low shutter speed while moving the camera around.

Thanksgiving traffic on my way home tonight. This is the on-ramp to interstate 95 in my area. Going 30 mph all the way home was oddly very relaxing. 🚙

Went to the park yesterday to work out and decompress. I parked, opened the hatchback, and proceeded to really take it out on the dumbbells. Weights, not people. 😏

Experimenting this morning with a much shorter lens than I’m used to: 40mm f2.0 at f2.
Definitely a different look compared to the 135mm I’m usually shooting with…the perspective.

I have been trying for some back lighting on the leaves to create a little glow. I dial in exposure compensation according to the brightness I want.

Went out to view the hedge in my front yard this morning. Verdict: overgrown.
Had two options: Get my cordless trimmer and go at it for a couple of hours, maybe more. Or, photograph its delicate new growth.😉
