I see artists trade their patreon and ko-fi links all the time and it seems sometimes like it's only other artists and a handful of regular followers that pass those round.

It really does help. Previous clients saying on comm ads they had a good experience also helps a lot too.

you can love a character and still admit when they're wrong. we love Shadow but we can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) and we can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he has never done anything wrong in his life) and call him out on his actions (which are always correct)

I don’t even think the fires of Hell come close to burning one as hot as this obituary does, God damn!

Joking aside, it’s a shame that the Star Tribune declined to post what I would assume is an honest account of the person in question. It’s also very respectfully written, I might add.
