Beautiful - and great exposure choices! Not perhaps the most trivial situation for Ektar.

A color photograph of a mountain landscape showing steep, rugged peaks partially covered with lingering snow patches. The slopes are lined with dense forests of pine and aspen, their varying shades of green contrasting with the gray and reddish tones of the rocky cliffs. A hazy sky creates a soft, diffused light that highlights the subtle textures of the terrain. Captured on Kodak Ektar 100 film using a Pentax MX with a 100mm f/2.8 lens.

The flowers line a rustic wooden fence along a sidewalk, with storefront signs and pedestrians softly blurred in the background. The bright blooms contrast against the muted tones of brick walls and shop façades, creating a warm, inviting small-town atmosphere. Captured on Kodak Ektar 100 film with a Pentax MX and 100mm f/2.8 lens.

A color photograph of a desert highway intersection beneath a vivid blue sky filled with large, billowing white clouds. The asphalt road stretches into an arid landscape framed by ochre and brown hills, their slopes showing subtle layers of erosion and sediment. Sparse roadside signs stand out against the emptiness, emphasizing the scale of the open terrain. Captured on Kodak Ektar 100 film with a Pentax MX and 28mm f/2.8 lens.

Entirely reasonable, if not a bit stingy. After all, one would not want the Keeper of the Life Ring to be vulnerable to bribery - the consequences are too awful to contemplate.

I never did like how it was looking at me.

A color photograph of the sun setting over a rocky shoreline, its warm light glinting off the surface of the rippling water. Dark rocks frame the scene, while gentle waves wash through tidal pools in the foreground. The sky fades smoothly from golden near the horizon to soft lavender and pale blue above, with a faint contrail streaking across the upper right. Captured on Fujicolor Provia 100 film with a Pentax LX and 35mm f/2.8 lens, the image showcases the film’s signature fine grain, vivid yet balanced color rendition, and crisp tonal contrast from the E6 development process.

A color photograph of the ocean at sunset, where the last sliver of the sun glows faintly on the horizon. Waves crash gently against dark, jagged rocks scattered across the scene, and the water reflects the pale lavender and gold tones of the fading light. The sky transitions smoothly from warm peach near the horizon to cool violet-blue overhead. Captured on Fujicolor Provia 100 film using a Pentax LX with a 35mm f/2.8 lens, the image displays the slide film’s signature fine grain, high contrast, and luminous color gradation produced by the E6 process.

Please - it is more refined to say that one is "with camera."
incidencematrix.bsky.social
They'd have a hard time focusing that one. Would be more realistic with a press camera. (Though I've no figured out how to get mine set up for hand-shooting, yet, so I can't focus without a tripod either. But at least it *has* a rangefinder, even if it isn't connected to anything....)

Thanks! Yes, Fuji's color reversal materials are truly magnificent. Hopefully they'll keep making them (even if, as now, the supply trickles out slowly).
incidencematrix.bsky.social
True, though this has been my experience to date.

I thought the "Leica Glow" was the magic aura that made all of the photographers nod respectfully and knowingly as you pass by.

When you want a really clean image, TMX/TMY are hard to beat. I am also partial to P3200 (TMZ) for the opposite reason: at least in XTOL, I love the grain. (And the speed is also handy.) Am not a Delta fan (though I love most Ilford film); their grain seems mushy, and I don't love the tonality.
incidencematrix.bsky.social
Fantastic, both for the sense of space and the tonality.
incidencematrix.bsky.social
Indeed - they know how to do sunsets there.

I was unable not to post some others from the series, because I love them more than is seemly. But anyway, one can never have too much beauty.
