As you know, the House of Representatives passed the Homeland Security appropriations bill, which increases funding to ICE and CBP by hundreds of millions of dollars. Seven Dems voted with the Republicans to pass it. The bill now moves to the Senate for a vote this week.

This didn’t start as some big corporate policy. It started with individual Hilton franchisees making a choice. A Hampton Inn in Lakeville, Minnesota refused to host ICE agents. That decision came from the people running the hotel, not from protests or outside pressure.
