Personally, I'm not bothered about an extra £10k @johnswinney.bsky.social I would rather that my country was free & Independent first & foremost. We can enjoy the other obvious benefits properly once we untangle ourselves from this unequal & unholy alliance that is the UK. To me that is worth more.

Sums it up nicely. The PR system is what WM installed to actively PREVENT any one party getting an outright majority of seats (i.e. with the SNP specifically in mind). To get an INDY majority it has to be SNP 1, Green 2

Frank this is the trend - SNP got

2021 - 64(62C & 2L) seats.
2016 - 63(59C & 4L) seats.
2011 - 69(53C & 16L) seats.
2007 -47(21C & 26L) seats.

The more Constituency seats SNP win the less List seats they get.

In a region, if SNP win 8/9 Constituency seats their List votes get divided by 8+1=9

We're used to seeing Labour in third place in Scotland, bit what's interesting in this new poll is seeing how much the Scottish Greens have gone up on the list vote.

They're matching Labour in third and not far off Reform in second. How good would an SNP 1, Greens 2 in vote share be.
