a majority of people in minneapolis in the past week have gotten whistles to blow to alert each other when we see ice. Its amazing that the community has come together but its so crazy that this is how life is now. I walk to work and hear whistles. I wake up and hear whistles...

Ice is just driving in circles around uptown minneapolis right now pointing flashlights from their cars in everyones faces to see what they look like. theres not a lot of homeless people on the streets tonight. Probably because theyre easy targets. im so mad i missed my bus

they are cutting off aid to Minnesota so my neighbors starve while they take their family away. school is getting cancelled because its not safe for students to leave home. if you don’t live in Minnesota please consider donating to help send food to families that can’t leave the house :(

Ice was across the street from my work 😐 like legit its so crazy whats happening in my city now. im a manager at my work so if they come into the store i have to deal with them and protect my staff and our customers. The fact that a manager of a book store has to think of these things is insane

I live in Minneapolis and ice is everywhere and i constantly hear helicopters and at the book store I work at we have mandatory anti-ice training and im really worried about my neighbors :(
