Here it is! Another modern review for you, check out Neon Inferno this time around. Is it an awesome love letter to the 16 and 32-bit eras of old or just a wanna be? Watch and find out!

So, on that other app today (I'm there to promote my work because I have 10x the followers there that I do here), someone didn't get a joke which I pointed out... their reply made it clear they didn't know what a 'beard' was.

Their answer was to attack me and say they were joking. Suuuuuuuure.

Another great and underrated 16-bit RPG is Phantasy Star IV! For me it's definitely in the top 5 of all 16-bit RPGs for all platforms.

Sadly, it was the final traditional turn-based and story focused single player game in the series.

If you've been thinking about buying an Anbernic RG DS, tempting at $100 before shipping, do NOT.

Several videos and reviews show major problems with it. The top screen isn't synced with the bottom right majorly affecting scrolling and it also freezes a lot. Word is this is complete disaster.

Love the irony of getting notifications from YouTube that I'm doing awesome while at the same time it is kneecapping me by killing my reach and not pushing my videos anymore.

Thanks so much for the fake encouragement!

Want to play a version of the original Lunar that feels more like Final Fantasy? Check out this mini-remake of the original for GBA, Lunar Legend! The characters don't move around the battlefield in this one.

I still prefer the Sega CD original but this was an interesting take.

I'd like to check out an AYN Thor. I have an Odin 2 and it's great. Buzz on the Thor is mostly positive, with a few issues.

I've been trying to get in touch with AYN about getting one for review on my channel but haven't had any luck.

Anyone here have a connection with them and can help?

Alright, out of school early today! Don't go back until next Monday and that's a teacher professional development day.

How will I celebrate? By doing hours of graduate work today! Last week for the course at least! Three more to go.

Positive about being a teacher at this time of year: early release tomorrow, off wed-fri!

Negatives: students don't want to do anything at all this week... moreso than usual.

We should see these characters in something new.

I don't care how many times they remake FF IV... I'll be there for it!

I wish it got the full 3D, modern graphics treatment with an expanded story and more optional stuff to do.

If you know this character's SUPER secret identity then we can be friends.

Here's the black sheep of the Lunar series, Lunar: Dragon Song for the DS, the last entry in the series.

It was a misguided attempt at revival with gameplay systems that were cumbersome and without the charm or intensity of Eternal Blue. The US cover art also lied about the developers! (post 1/2)

One of my brothers keeps calling me to tell me James Gunn is going to be fired by whoever buys WB/Discovery.

He also believes basically anything he sees anywhere on the internet and gets mad when I explain most of the "sources" he's getting this from are known rumor/gossip sites.

Lol, well this shorts experiment on YT ain't going great. Low view percentage and the second most dislikes I've ever had, but I'm confident it can get to number 1! ☝️

OK, trying out doing a YouTube Short or two. Be gentle. Also, let me know what you think.

The best version of my fav JRPG! Sure, WD mangled it a bit, but everything that was great about it overshadowed that.
