Wendigo ink study done.
While I like the gold edging, the darker/warmer grey marker didn't work as intended. I'll have to go with lighter/colder greys or back to HB1/HB2 pencils to get the textures down that would make this better. #wendigo #traditionalart #artstudy

I found some older line drawings in long buried sketchbooks at my parents house. Some of them I'm going to reuse/update in 2026, and others I'll do an overhaul to, since the sketches were from 2006. 🤪

Drawn in pencil and the filigree outline inked in, roughly 4 hours. I should use stencils in the future (or however a light box is used?) but I like making things a challenge.

I've this week off and a bit of next week before returning to work. I'm slow at drawing, and I'm okay with that. I really want to work on forms. My art resolutions for 2026 are:
1) One illustration a month.
2) Make something I want to see/hang on the wall.
