oh metaphor refantazio conclusion: just gave up in the third main dungeon. i just dont care about this game. all the characters have severe It Can't Be Helped disorder and the gameplay is SMT But Annoying. i tried for 30+ hours sorry

quicksave ruined many videogames for like 20 years and only now is the industry finally weening off it, it took stuff like dark souls reintroducing stakes and consequences for studios to let up on giving the player god mode

no really. in the tutorial area a guy walks up to your crew and is like "Hey I'm an assassin here to kill you!" and throws a fireball that will one-shot your entire party. they are teaching you that you need to spam quicksave and pre-position your crew to out-ambush the ambushes, you have to cheat
divinity 2 is awesome but also unrecommendable to most people because it's a True Freaks Only RPG. every fight is an unwinnable ambush you are expected to quicksave and exploit your way out of

hoipe. hopefully they learned lessons from BG3 in terms of streamlining mechanics and not designing every fight to be a dagger in the back

not sure how to square ‘no one person can be reasonably expected to pay for every media subscription’ with ‘sorely underpaid writers need to make a living’ but my inclination is not to locate that problem with any of the broke ass people on either end of the complaint

when consuming outrage content, it is important, always, to ask yourself: does anyone normal care about this? has a normal person even heard of this thing that is making my blood pressure spike?
i think people make way too much of a fuss about jimmy fallon. the show gets a fraction of the views of the average eddy burback video. if you ran around a city asking everyone you ran into who eddy burback is they would ask you to leave them alone

it really really sucks that cops are your friend in cyberpunk lol. youre heavily discouraged from killing them because they drop nothing and fighting them just isnt very fun. kinda dumps dirt on the whole 'youre a criminal in scifi new york" fantasy. that said i murdered 300 cops on 5 stars
